Feels like home

It’s officially “us”!!! And how it feels like I finally found my way back home, after scores of time searching…

Vacation

Due to some complications at work, I never thought our plan to take our vacation together would never push through. But due to some miracle, my boss suddenly changed her mind and allowed me to take my vacation! Though Rachelle and I were not able to go together at the same time, I followed her two weeks after. This picture was taken when I took her to the airport.

Pinas!

After two long, crawling weeks, finally Rachelle and I were together again. Our first ever meeting in the Philippines was at the MRT Taft Avenue station (how romantic di ba?). As I was walking towards the passenger platform, my heart was beating so fast! And just like in the movies, it felt like everything went into slow motion. I saw her seating there, all alone. Then, she slowly looked into my direction and smiled when she saw me. As I approached her panting, she immediately stood up and welcomed me with a warm hug… This picture was our first in the Philippines, also our first bus ride together (ang daming “firsts” no?)!

Cavite

My mom underwent another surgery for her fractured left arm when Rachelle and I went for vacation. We stayed at the hospital for three days. To get some additional provisions, we volunteered to go back to our house in Cavite. This picture was taken in our terrace, also her first visit to our house and in Cavite.
