Our Journey
Back to Dubai
Baguio City
While visiting and meeting Rachelle’s clan (please note, not family but clan…) in Pangasinan, we planned a side trip and went to Baguio City. We rode a van from Dagupan City and took us almost two hours before reaching the so-called “Summer Capital of the Philippines”. We wasted no time to visit Baguio’s famous tourist spots: Mine’s View Park, The Mansion, Burnham Park, The Lion’s Head, Baguio Market (for peanut brittle and walis tambo!) and the open air SM City Baguio! This picture is a shot at Mines View Park’s entrance.
Pangasinan
A day after my mother’s birthday, Rachelle and I left Cavite for their hometown of Labrador in Pangasinan. We took a six-hour bus ride from Pasay City and reached Barangay Lawis at around two in the morning. Her mom Tita Elsa greeted us and served us sinigang na hipon cooked in Pangasinan style! This picture was taken when we went to the Covelandia Beach Resort for her parents’ wedding anniversary.
